NCA Inducts Dr. Mark Lees into Hall of Renown
By special proclamation, the Board of Directors and the members of the National Cosmetology Association (NCA) inducted Dr. Mark Lees of Pensacola, FL into the NCA Hall of Renown. Ceremonies took place during the NCA’s annual convention, February 25, 2005 in Chicago, IL.
The Hall of Renown is one of the 25,000 member professional association’s most prestigious honors and was presented to Lees in recognition of his lifetime of outstanding achievements as a professional educator in the field of esthetics.
“Mark Lees, a long time EstheticsAmerica Educator, has made significant contributions to the professional salon industry,” said NCA President Josephine Zeppieri, on presenting the award. “We are proud of his accomplishments in esthetics worldwide and equally proud of his dedication to the National Cosmetology Association.”
Lees, a longtime resident of Pensacola, owns Mark Lees Skin Care Salon on Bayou Blvd. in Cordova Square, Pensacola, as well as an internationally distributed product line under the same name.
Separately, delegates to the 85th annual convention elected Lees to serve on the Board of Directors of the National Cosmetology Association for a one-year term.
