NCA Disaster Relief Fund was established in 1955 to assist salons in rebuilding following the devastation of natural disaster. Over the course of five decades, the fund has been there for professionals in times of dire need.

Most recently, the entire industry came together behind the NCA Disaster Relief Fund to raise and distribute over one million dollars in aid to directly assist to salon professionals rebuild their careers and lives following Hurricane Katrina.  Since that time, we have received hundreds of emails, cards and letters thanking the industry for their extraordinary response to what has been called the largest natural disaster in the history of our country. Unfortunately, we know that this is not the last time salon professionals will be confronted by the challenges of a natural disaster.  In the last year alone we have seen professionals lives and careers challenged by the effects of devastating tornados in Kansas and Florida, the fires in southern California, new flooding in Louisiana and more.  We hope that professionals will continue to support our efforts to help those in need when they need it most.
